This policy explains what personal data Biruh Alemnew (“we”) collects through edtechtools.shop and when you buy or use our plugins.
What we collect and why
- When you buy: your name, email, organisation, country and the address of your Moodle site, to issue and renew your licence and send you updates. Payment details are collected by Paddle.com, our reseller; we never see your card number. See Paddle’s privacy policy.
- When you contact us: your email and what you write, to answer you.
- On this website: standard server logs, kept for security.
The plugins themselves
Our plugins run on your Moodle site and keep their data in your Moodle database. They do not send your learners’ data to us. Checking the licence key happens on your site, without contacting us.
Sharing and keeping data
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with Paddle, to process orders, and where the law requires it. We keep order records for as long as tax law requires, and other data only as long as needed for the purposes above.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it, by emailing biruh@biruh.org. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
